Upcountry there is tremendously much to discover, especially the popular Peloponnese peninsula and Chalkidiki with the three famous „fingers“. Above all, there are regions on the mainland that are still untouched and where there is no mass tourism. So it’s ideal for a road trip. Simply rent a car or a scooter from the local vehicle rentals.
The weather in Greece? It’s a dream! The land is located in the Mediterranean Sea inbetween the Aegean and Ionian Sea. This location grants the country a Mediterranean climate with a hot, dry summer and a mild, humid winter. In spring the temperatures rise up to 20 degrees Celsius and over, in the summer months it is 30 degrees and more.
Greece has 15 international airports across the country, six of which are on the mainland. We recommend to head for the airport in Thessaloniki, then you only need about 30 minutes with a rental car to get to our apartments and studios.
